My first camera, a Nikon FM2, was completely manual and taught me to take control of every detail of the photograph. I have always been addicted to creating. When I was a little girl I would collage anything I could get my hands on. This passion led me to working with an artist in her studio all through high school. She taught me that anything can be art and every day is a day to create. I started college at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and finished at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. There I fell in love with photography and filmmaking.
Through the years, I have always tried to have my hands in something creative. Fifteen years ago I did my first montage for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah, and have not stopped since! The learning curve has been a mountain climb, and I have loved the creative challenges every step of the way.
